Another Terrible Console Port.

User Rating: 6 | L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition PC
Could this be a decent game ? I don't know, I couldn't get past the copious amounts of lag thanks to this poorly ported and poorly optimized game.

If you are thinking about buying this game for the pc then ask your self a few simple questions

1. Do I have a processor equal to or superior to that of an Intel i5 3.1 ghz processor ?

2. Do I have 8GB of ram ?

3. Do I have a graphics card equal to or more powerful then a AMD 6850 ?

If you can answer yes to the above then it's possible you could play this game above 800x600 with out lag so congratulations but if you answered no then get it on the PS3 or Xbox360.

I found there were a lot of issues with the game it's self.

I found that it was really slow, very boring and felt repetitive early on.

The driving in the game is average, engine noises for the vehicles is temperamental, often the cars are silent which ruins the atmosphere of the World your in.

The shooting and shoot outs in the game are extremely simple, one dimensional and I felt like it was just going though the motions.
The AI don't try to flank you or use cover to their advantage, all they do is hide in cover and pop out in a predictable manor, therefore making it super easy for you as the player.

There are a lot of nice touches in the game but not enough for me to have expected a Gamespot PC version to be reviewed at 9.0, rather shocking !

Conclusion, sloppy port, needs very high spec pc to run perfectly, buy it for a console if you have one.
Don't waste your money on the pc version if you don't have some serious hardware and even then, I wouldn't say it's all that amazing.
