Clunky controls, dated gameplay... weird face animations.

Clunky controls, dated gameplay.

This games gameplay reminds me of monkey island or other adventure games from the 90s when you walk around and try to click on things till you solve the puzzle. This is one of many problems I had with this game. Another is the really bad framerate, this game chugs and gave me headaches whenever having to drive around the city.. forcing me to use the auto drive as often as possible.

I got this game on sale so it wasnt a huge loss for me, but I'm yet again confused why it gets such a high review score... i'm missing something here and I'm not sure what. I didn't like the storyline, and all the mechanics are badly done such as the cover system, and driving. Every game before this has done things better.

And the most unique thing about this game is also at times the worst, and thats the face animations... they usually look pretty good, but half the time they remind me of what Conan O'brien sometimes used to do with taking peoples heads and cutting out their mouth part and having an actor talk through it.

If they had spent less time trying to add this face animation gimmic and worked more on the other graphics things would have been nicer. The hair on all the characters look like its painted on and has no attention to realism at all... it looks like the crappy job they used to do in the late 90s and early 2000's. Many games on like DOA had half decent hair and body animations. Anyways, this game has me in disappointment.
