This is for sure one of the best games I've played on NES. I played this game when I was young on my NES. Some time ago I found an emulator for NES games and this game too and it worked great! I never had much fun like playing this game. The gameplay is fun, amazing and most of the time funny.
You can see how much the designers looked at details to make the game fun in every sense of the word. The AI is fantastic and you can choose on which difficulty you will play. I play on medium and it's always balanced, but there are also tough challenges if you play against a harder team.
There are three types of matches: Playing in the league, a regular match and a penalty match.
When you play in the league, you have to gain enough points by playing different teams. The teams range from Senegal, Korea to Germany and Italy. After that you play the cup.

Amazing for NES and its time. The animations are stunning. You could even break the goal if your shot was powerful. There is a large amount of special moves you can do and every one of them is well balanced and cool looking. There is also a weather system and the weather impacts greatly on the game. Also the stadium could be in a bad condition, example the stadium is full of mud.

Really great game. If you haven't played this game, then what are you waiting for? You don't need to be a soccer fan to play this game. It's fun in any way you look at it. I could play this game anytime and I would have fun. Try it.
