Out of nowhere came this game. Its one of those that is a little hard. Fun after awhile into it, if you havent given up.
Magic in the game is the way to cause great pain on all those goblins and ettins(two headed ogres).
You have your main town and a map where you can venture out and visit places. Every once in awhile you will be ambushed, sometimes you barely make it alive to a town where you can be healed.
Of course there is a story to the whole land, but its best to discover on your own.
Definately not a game for beginners with no patience.
The combat system was kind of fun but very weird. You set your attack and defense, or move on a character and you have to think what the monster tend to do.
Compared to the ADnD2nd of the era it was pretty good. And since this is a C-64 tagged game(also for PC)on Gamespot I just have to mention the floppy disc swapping... Sometimes 3 times just to zone into town, if only one disc station. A game that didnt waste my time, nearly 19 years ago ha ha !
