Medievel fantasy, with cool story and awesome designs.
What can be noticed first is pretty cool character and monster designs. There are a lot of games, that could be good, but when it comes to designs, are lacking any new ideas. In this game designs are looking quite fresh and awesome, expecially when it comes to bosses.
I won't describe plot or gameplay, but story-wise, it has some clever moves, such as instead of pure fantasy, adding background of witch-hunts in the medieval setting, still keeping feeling of fantasy. Both main characters have personalities, that are keeping them on water through the whole game. In the end story and character are quite well made, maybe not the best, but still deserving attention.
Grafik has some flaws, especially during HD playing and camera moving. But, it won't makes eyes suffer. The only thing that's annoying is moving of the main antagonist's mouth. Camera'S trouble are present only during boss fights and small rooms. Otherwise player can control it, adjusting it to best position.
I read many critics against poor AI od the second character and boring gameplay. About AI I must say, it's not THAT poor. If someone ever played RE: Outbreak, now this is a poor AI. You can manipulate computer movements and the game is about cooperation. So nobody can expect for AI to make whole work of your enemies. When it comes to gameplay, it's rather simple in therms of control and fight engine, but cool effects and choose of spell combination and melee attacks keeping it enjoyable.
In the end I must say, that for those, who like medieval theme and hack-and-slash that game could be quite worthy, at least renting. My personal note on this game 9/10.
