Klonoa Two is a fun, exciting game worth playing through.

Klonoa back in 1997 was a heck of a game. It was a fun, old-school platformer, that had great level design. The sequel to that great game remains true to its predecessor by bringing the same great characters and an interesting plot.

The game picks up where the first one left off. Klonoa finds himself washed up on the land of Lunatea. The antagonist Leorina wants to become to rule over the land for his (or her) own dirty needs. It's up to Klonoa, a floppy-eared cat that sets bad dreams right, to save the land with the help of his two friends, Lolo and Popka. These two characters play a big part in the game's plot, especially Lolo.

Klonoa Two's plot is not the best in a game, but it is one that you want to play through to see what happens. The level design in Klonoa is great. Just as the first game, the sequel has clever puzzles that you need to solve to continue through all eighteen levels. Not all of the levels are hard, in fact, the game is very simple. You may only get stuck a couple times throughout the game. Klonoa uses the Wing Ring to help him through the game. What this special ring does is grab and inflate enemies. You will need this inflated enemies to help to reach higher places and hit switches. The ring also plays an important role in the storyline.

The soundtrack in Klonoa Two perfectly fits whatever area you enter in the game. The tracks aren't very long, and can get repetitive, but it most certainly fits the mood of the level that you're in. Later in the game, you must travel back to some levels again, with a similar look like when you were there before. The game won't take you very long to complete, no, there are only eighteen levels that you will go through fairly quickly. It should take less than fifteen hours to complete. You can also go back through the levels to collect all the gems in the levels if you wish. It is also worth mentioning the funny language that the characters speak, it is very similar to the Japanese language.

Klonoa is a fun, short game. Whether you're in to weird and spirited gaming, or just plainly enjoy Platformers, Lunatea's Veil is a game worth checking out because it is a joyride the entire way through.
