This is something that should'nt be ignored for ANY Kirby fan, or ANY Wii owner.

You know, when I did my Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary review. I rated a good score? Why?! I think it was because I was rating based on the game All-Stars than the actual box-set.

But since then, Nintendo has went soft on anniversarys.
With Zelda, it was Skyward Sword, and a fully fledged orchestra. Metroid didn't get anything at all. Kid Icarus got risen from the grave with Uprising for 3DS. And Kirby......got this.

Kirby's Dream Collection is a game that celebrates the series' 20th anniversary of the series. And it's a box-set, and celebration done right.

First off, the game has actual menus, not just a rom stack on a disc.

You have six classic Kirby games. All right! Great Value already, you have:
Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy)
Kirby's Adventure (NES)
Kirby's Dream Land 2 (Game Boy)
Kirby Super Star (SNES)
Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES)
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64)

Wait a minute, Game Boy games? A N64 game thats already on Virtual Console? Yes, they did this. They actually gave a s**t. And putted Game Boy games, and a n64 game to boot. Already an improvement over The Mario celebration. But it doesn't stop there.

Aside from the games, it also has challenge stages, based on those from Kirby's Return to Dream Land, which is a great edition. It also has a museum section, which tells about the Kirby games that have been released through the years, yeah, a full-fledged menu, instead of a booklet. But guess what? It comes with that too.

The Booklet is excellent. Unlike the Mario booklet, which from reason only contained selectable games to show off. It contains EVERY game in the series. And even better, they talk about it, they talk about how the series started, how every game they created, they were aiming for a certain goal, paragraphs of information! And to top that off with pictures, and you got an awesome booklet. But that is not all, Oh No, that is not all!

The CD is like the icing on the cake. With over 45 tracks, over 70 minutes of music. 2-4 tracks from each game. and a couple bonus tracks....like ELECTRO KIRBY!

Already you can see that The Kirby Anniversary was given much care and attention that Mario. But guess what? They included something else. In the musuem, you can find 3 episodes of the Kirby anime.....I'm not Kidding....they did this. And that's awesome. The Episodes aren't really good, but they're worth watching for a laugh. Theres also vids. for each game that was in the series, and a music video.

Heres my problems with this box-set.

Kirby's Dream Land, and Kirby 64. Now, they are not bad games. They are good games. They just haven't aged well to me. But they're absoulutley worth playing.

Also, in order to get out of the games is annoying. You have to press the Reset button on your Wii, every time you want to play another game.

But besides, this is must own. Mario's Anniversary was a stale cash in. While Kirby's Anniversary had effort and value putted in. This is something that should'nt be ignored for....ANY Kirby fan, or ANY Wii owner. Get it.
