Kirby is one of my favorite gaming characters, and that's because the games are so fun. It's simple, straight to the point, and hides nothing from you (aside from a few bonuses and such).

Kirby's Adventure is almost unrecognizable as an NES game; it has sharp controls, slick graphics, and smooth animation. It is arguably the best NES game in the console's library.

The levels are fast-paced, and there are tons of powers to choose from. You can even choose not to use any enemy powers, and use the traditional inhale/exhale attack from Kirby's Dream Land. The boss battles are usually fun, and they're never very unfair, though they remain challenging.

If I had any complaints about this game, it would be that there are three final boss battles, and that it is a little short. These are no demerits that should stop you from playing this gem, however.
