Some frusterating elements keep this game from being a great platformer.

Kirby's Adventure is the second game in the Kirby series following the original Game Boy game, Kirby's Dreamland. It's also one of the last of the NES games to be released. You basicly have Kirby advancing right as he defeats enemies and travels via doors and warpstars. Some enemies give you copy abilities, which allows you to find easier ways to defeat other enemies. Defeated enemies respawn after moving offscreen. It's an annoyance that is further employed by this game; have the enemy locations just barely off the edge of screen has them reappearing. Furthermore, you lose your ability EVERY time you get hit instead of sometimes, having you chase the ability only to go back and have that darn "defeated" enemy respawning because he moved offscreen. You travel through seven different worlds, and fight bosses at the end of them. There are also mini-games, such as quick draw and a crane game where you can earn extra lives. If you want to play this game, I'd advise getting the GBA remake (Nightmare in Dreamland) at budget price. It is much more bearable and is a better value for your money. Avoid downloading the original.
