Kirby in: "Adventures in BIZARRO WORLD"

User Rating: 8.5 | Kirby & The Amazing Mirror GBA
While this is not my favorite Kirby game, I'll definately agree that the innovation is only second to perhaps Canvas Curse. The game takes a different spin to the gameplay that slightly deviates from the usual features of a Kirby game. Kirby now has a cell phone that he can use to call for assistance from his clone counterparts...Red, yellow, and green Kirby. He even has a new rival in the form of "Shadow Kirby". Another thing that's a bit different about this title is that Kirby is on a quest to save his long time frienemy, Meta Knight. Most of the bosses are "mirror world" versions of their Dream World counterparts...the first noticable one is Whispy Woods. There are a few new copy abilities in this game, but the one that I found to be the most impressive was the "Smash" ability. I'm not going to spoil what it does for those who haven't played the game but I will leave you with a hint: Its gained from a foreign yet familiar foe and allows for Kirby to do things he has never done in any of his own games. Given the title of the game, I'm surprised that the "Mirror" copy ability nor the villian Marx made an appearance in this game.

My Breakdown:

What's Good:

- New Innovative approach to gameplay
- A new setting
- New story elements (goes beyond just saving Dream Land)
- The new Smash copy ability
- High replay value

What's Not-So-Good:

- Besides the above mentioned ability, the other new ones weren't that impressive

- No King Dedede

- Ironically, no "Mirror" copy ability in the Mirror World

What's Bad: Nothing that sticks out

In all, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror adds a great spin on an already fun gameplay formula but personally, I prefer using one Kirby over four.
