There is no way that they just rated my favorite game a 6.9!!
i realized that when i wrote the 1st version of the review, i didn't give good details about the game, so i'll fix that. wait! it's already fixed!
okay, so, this game, is like, madd fun to play. it's my favoritest game ever!!!! so, the plot is that a fairy was chased off her planet by evil smoke clouds. she was riding on a giant crystal, and the smoke clouds broke it. when the fairy tells kirby about this, kirby decides to help her, and some of his friends join him along the way.
so, this game is just like super mario brothers, just with 3d people and enemies, more colorful levels and you do not just quit doing plumbing services just to save a princess in this game. (there are no plumbing problems or princesses that get kidnapped in this game)
the object of the game is to collect all the pieces of the broken crystal. there are 3 crystals in each level and 1 in each boss battle.
the controls are not gonna be what you expect them to be when you first play this game. you use the control pad to move instead of the control stick. you use the a button to jump and the b button to suck in enemies to gain a special ability. you use the b button to use a special ability and by pressing any of the yellow c buttons twice, you can get rid of your ability.
you can mix these special abilities to make more powerful ones. but, here are some useless ones too. there's the light bulb, which does nothing and the fire and ice mix, which is completely useless because when you use it, you turn into ice, then get melted by your own fire. then, there are extremely powerful ones, such as the dynamite, which i think is a mix of the bomb and fire abilities. it has good range, and is extremely powerful, but if you get too close to it while it explodes, you can die.
the graphics are very good. they're colorful, and there's a nice mix of 2d and 3d things in this game. the level design is good also.
the music is nice, and it fits in with the worlds good. but, the music gets annoying sometimes.
there is also a multiplayer mode where you play some entertaining minigames. unfortunitaly, there's only 3 minigames to choose from. they're fun, though. :)
this game is definitely worth buying. so, go on ebay and bid on it right now. cuz if you don't have this game, you're really missing out on a fun experience!!! PLEASE RATE!!!!!
