Once you pick it up you CANNOT put it down again
I've been playing it for the last 3 weeks now (not continuously obviously) and I have just reached level 19 with my paladin. In my opinion, in late game, the paladin is probably the most troop efficient as it starts out with the resurrect spell, which, with the correct talents and plenty of Intelligence, can be used 6-7 times per battle +1 more with inquisitors. Anyway, I will keep playing and see it turns out.
Everything in the game is tied together very thoughtfully. If you play it right, you cannot finish all the battles in one area, without having to explore the next first as there are always some enemies who are too powerful for your level. I believe this is an intended design, because it forces you to venture out to the world and continue following the story line without being bogged in one place for too long.
All in all, an instant classic and a masterpiece... 10/10
