Kingdom Hearts remains a classic even after nearly a decade of existing. It will remain so for years to come.
The game puts you in the shoes of Sora, a young wide eyed lead with two friends who go missing. Sora sets off on a journey to find them and is joined by Donald and Goofey, along with a myriad of other Disney characters.
GAMEPLAY: 8/10
The game-play is standard issue action RPG, melee, magic, and defense. It's also button mashing, which wasn't too berated upon it's release, but in present standards seems too repetitive.
STORY: 9/10
The story is VERY involving, upon start-up, you are given an emotional connection that lasts beyond the games duration. It's not your standard action adventure story. You feel emotionally invested and care about each character immensely. Meeting new Disney and FF friends creates a sense of discovery. This games story has pushed it into the ranks of video game classics, and it will remain there for years to come.

Kingdom Hearts blends fun action with pure and amazing storytelling which will keep you invested for years to come amongst countless replays.
