A very good game. For it I hold more praises than complaints thankfully here you will find both.

It's always easier to find some truth on a "bad" review than a "good" review, in truth the problem is that is hard to come by an official review criticizing a major franchise. Even while I think this title is very, very good I do think there are some things that were left unsaid in most reviews:

1- I suppose you have heard the game is unbelievably easy. But it's not the difficulty itself but that the gameplay has been tweaked to be more accessible to the wide audience.
Basically the idea is that you only have to press x to win battles and you don't even have to be facing enemies to attack them.

"I feel like i'm seeing someone play instead of me" was a common quote from haters of the game. Actually I very much agree with their little phrase; the character does almost everything automatically.

This not only makes the game easier but it also seeing the character fly when pressing anything takes out some of the reward of hitting an enemy.

2- Also It's easy to see the franchise has grown to be a lot more commercial/accessible. Not only the controls have been dumbed down. But characters can now run through walls and pull off incredible stunts that you obviously can't do in game and also almost everyone has a "keyblade" (the excalibur of the franchise). The story has changed from being a journey through childhood to merely a big hollywood blockbuster.

3- I think everyone should know that you can't play with any FF character. =( And also you can't kill disney characters (though it could be a good thing if u are planning to buy it for your kids or something)

Now on to the real review:

The story:
The premise is that you have to travel to worlds mostly Disney fantasy words and you are forced fix the problems of each annoying character living there.Thankfully the those little stories don't really affect the main plot. Btw there are Final Fantasy NPCs too.

Gameplay:
The gameplay invented for KH1 is still fantastic, it's a perfect blend of action with traditional JRPG concepts. Fights are really impressive, however I miss when characters spent more time on the ground.
A combination of X and triangle pressed really fast can get pass most of the battles, except for some battles that you have to press them faster. This doesn't make fights very compelling but they sure look awesome.

After playing and loving KH1 it's difficult to get mad at this game, it's definitely not a bad game and though some things haven't changes for the better another lot has been upgraded.
If you haven't played any Kingdom Hearts I recommend you get the first before this one, you won't be disappointed. And if you have played Kingdom Hearts, what are you waiting for?
