A bloody good Co-op experience.

User Rating: 8.5 | Killing Floor PC
Like many great games Killing floor started as a Mod for Unreal 2004 and even then it was highly enjoyable.
Tripwire Interactive picked the mod up after having played it for them self and when they saw the huge community that had forged around this mod.

Killing Floor is a co-op survival horror game which in you alone or with 6 people have to survive a number waves of Zombies.

when you start paying on a server you get to pick a a perk, which act like some kind of class system for example a Medic perk heals players better and a berserk perk does more damage with melee weapons than other classes.
The Perks level up as you play with them more and get more powerful on the way.
After each wave of zombies you get to buy weapons. but it is not as simple that you press a button and you can buy guns no you have to find a trader.
The Trader does not spawn on the same place after each wave, that keeps the game moving, and you have to follow a way point to get to him.
There are a lot of guns you can buy from chainsaw to Hunting rifles.
All the guns feel very real to use and the sound fits the weapon perfectly.

There is also a lot of enemy's for you to use those guns on. The go from slow moving skinny zombie that graps you and starts chewing on your flesh to a Huge guy with a cheingun and a rocked luncher for arms. The game also features a nice slow-mo system so if you land a nice head shots you can watch the gore in slow motion.
It also features a 42 achievements.

The In-game story is nothing original. A bio tech facility is preforming tests on thr human body trying to make a better soldier by attaching weapons n stuff to there arms and giving them more speed. something goes wrong and the "experiments" swarm London. It is up to you and your teammates to wipe out these failed experiments and make London habitable again.

All in all Killing floor in an awesome co-op experience that team or trigger happy players can enjoy.

Cheers
