For the low price tag, i expected a slightly over-average game, I got the complete opposite.

User Rating: 9 | Killing Floor PC
First of all let me point out the low price tag. As of now it is in retail stores for about 20$. This is the most value you can get for your money, I got the more hours of entertainment from Killing Floor than from L4D.
1. Gameplay:
The gameplay is an outstanding achievement, considering the aging engine the game runs on. The shooting is fast and frantic, you can't turn your back for long or go solo before things will start clawing you apart. The Gameplay could be considered an invasion type of game, at the end of every wave of enemies a shop opens in different locations on the map. These locations allow you to make choices in the way you dispatch the new wave of enemies, will you back to your last location? Will you stand outside and fight? Will you weld doors together to focus your attention on a single group of enemies? its all up to you (in single player mode) and your team (Multi player mode). Perks will keep you playing for a long time they offer bonuses to all play types.
2. Sounds:
The gun sounds are superb. It's oddly satisfying to unload a clip of ammo on an creature. The voices add a sense of humorish to the game but sometimes are just plain annoying. The musical score is repetitive hardcore metal, the first time you hear it you might be like "hell yeah!" but after 4 rounds of the same music you will hate it.
3. Graphics:
The graphics are great but they show signs of aging, when cranked up to max they look alright, but something seems missing. The guns have terrific textures, but the enemies may seem lacking detail. The lighting on some levels like the farm, seem too dark for me.
4. Replayability:
I am still playing this game even though I bought it months ago, the developers show support for the game, the heavy metal free DLC added 2 new weapons The AK-47 and the katana, both made me come back for more. Also a player packet was released for 1.99$ for 4 new models. Easy 40 hours gameplay.
Conclusion:
Great game more than I expected to get for 20$, great if you are low on cash, an overall best buy.
