imagine yourself sitting in front of the tv, playing halo for the 3 billionth time, your PS2 gaining dust by the second. you hit a snag in the game, the first in a year. you get up, an grudgingly go to Gamespot or IGN or whatever and see an Article for a new game. below the title, it's meaning which eludes you, shows a little green dude, with purple pants, pushing around a lump of stuff. you click on it. you are intrigued. and that will be the last time you'll see halo's pause screen for a good long while. You will never be the same.
this game is it's own genre.
it's simple.
it's crazy.
It's Katamari Damacy.
The music is wonderful, the graphics good and bad at the same time, the story is out of nowhere, and the gameplay is indescribable. It's short, yet unreasonably sweet.
