Worth the wait, Sleek and Well Conceived
Having just started playing Marvel Alliance and still playing. I must say its only fair we look at this title as its own and with comparison.
JLH has a wonderful opening FMV. Should be enough to get you started. Then when you go on playing, You realise the graphics are actually really smooth. The animation never lags.
Yes, It is frustrating to bring up the map with R+Select but you can toggle it off/on as and when you need to.
The level up is similar to MUA, As you level up, you become more powerful and you are able to pump on present skills or new ones.
The bad of the game being, You can't choose your characters. Simply because the ones you're using for the level ties in with the FMVs and the story. The camera angles are better compared to MUA. The Sounds are great.
MUA is wonderful when it comes to gameplay, I admire the details put into the characters. JLH however is somewhat hitting the right notes, Their superpowers are just as much accurate. Wonderful for a first try. I believe they'll continue to polish it.
The difficulty, its tougher than MUA. Because when you're almost dead in MUA, You can switch. With 2 characters, its easier to end up dead though you can carry on playing with the alive character.
On the whole,mIt is a must collect title for PSP. A great action RPG. Yes there're a bunch of stuff to unlock as well.
