I got this game a short while ago for free as a PS Plus member. When I first started the game, I was blown back how crazy it could be. While that enjoyment didn't fade, problems did arise over the time I played it. While it was a blast, technical issues and slight repetitiveness set in.
When I started playing, I was amazed at the silly things you could do. With a grappling hook and with an infinite parachute, the sky is almost literally the limit. I had a ton of fun doing silly things and performing crazy stunts. For this reason alone, the game was a worthy pick up. Missions were always fun, but kind of samey. The grappling hook lends itself to just about any situation, from tying helicopters together to flinging an enemy off a platform plummeting to his death. It was always a ton of fun and creativity with these things will be your best friend.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of technical issues with the game that can sometimes be game breaking. More than once I had to restart the whole game simply because Rico fell through the world into the watery underworld and even a death wouldn't fix it. I also had several crashes and a ton of texture pop in during my time in Medici. The frame rate is not great, but it is still a fun game regardless.
Overall, I would recommend Just Cause 3 simply because of the silliness. It was a fun game and could have been so much better if only it had been patched and taken care of properly.
