Back in the day of the dreamcast there was a game called Jet Grind Radio (Jet set radio in other parts of the world). It didn't do all that well in retail, but when i played it when i got the demo of it, i knew i would HAVE to get it. The day of release I was of course 1st in line :). For years since I first bought it i play it all the way through at LEAST once a year. It is easily one of my favorite games of all time. Now later on the Xbox comes the sequel that most fans really never expected to get (Prays for shenmue's final sequel). This time I really wasn't able to get it till it was out of print. Once again though it was an AMAZING game. I really didn't think the first one could improve and if it could not by much, but this game provides the same amount of fun and similar gameplay but it just feels completely different. By default I was going to like it. I knew the gameplay couldn't have changed that much and if it did I didn't think it would get worse. Luckily i was pretty right. The game plays brilliantly. You will be hooked to it for days if you are anything like me. It is truly one of the most original and fun xbox games to come. Its far more over the top this time however, you can do crazy things like jump from skyscraper to skyscraper using satellite dishes as a ramp or grind up polls. It takes physics and rips them to shreds, **** physics. The music just as the last game is amazing. Techno and dance is the main theme of the music, the voice acting is great too. The simple sound effects are great although i kinda wish there were more environment sounds such as the giant spinning tower thing in the skyscraper district. I suppose the music more then makes up for it though. This game is guaranteed to have you hooked for days if you are willing to pick it up and play past the beginning. Like most games, it starts off a little bit slow, but its pace speeds up and doesn't really slow down till the end.

This game deserves its place in any collection. I am so glad I got the chance to play this game. Its one of those games that after you've played through all of it, you are disappointed because you just wanted more. Don't get me wrong by that statement ;) Its plenty long, but when you get a good thing, you want more of it right? Its a damn good thing they included multiplayer and trial modes in this one. It really takes the game to a whole new level, even after you've finished it. Its is insanely difficult to get all the characters and graffiti souls, it WILL keep you busy for weeks before you finally master all trial levels. Seriously, don't hesitate on picking this up, get it NOW!
