Journey is a beautiful game that draws you in from the title screen. But it really is just too short!

When I saw the title screen of Journey I just had to play it! It looked like it would be a very emotional experience that would take a hold of me and probably leave me saddened in the end (in a good way).

The moments of navigating through the world is quite enjoyable. The controls are very simple, which I don't have a problem with, but there are a few things that just needed to be improved for me.

Playing this game at first reminded me a lot of playing ICO and Shadow of the Colossus by being in a beautiful unknown world and striving for an end. But Journey fell short on a few levels.. First of which was the difficulty. There, really, is no difficulty.. Because you cannot lose or fail. There is no game over. And that might be OK, but not for me right here. This feels like a life journey, and as we all know, we can easily fail at life!

The online interactions with random players really didn't do much for me either. I actually found it quite unnecessary

The main issue with this game was that it is simply too short. It didn't keep me in long enough to get attached to the character or the atmosphere to really care about what transpired at the end. At the end it just left me wanting more. If there were more to do and a way to keep you there longer, experiencing the end of this journey would be that much more satisfying.

I would like to see more games like this in the future. It was so close to being an amazing game!
