User Rating: 9.5 | Jim Power: The Lost Dimension in 3-D SNES
I used to own this game about 10 years ago and it was amazing. The music was phenomenal and the gameplay was hard but still fun. It's very unforgiving but with most games being too forgiving with all their lives and checkpoints, I think we can let this one slide.

You play as Jim Power and you're in the Lost Dimension. That's the story. Not much of one is it? But that doesn't matter because you're going around killing roman soldiers, ugly creatures, giant trolls and much more. And with that kind of variety what's not to love?

The graphics are great. The background moves to give you a sense of depth but admittingly it does seem to move too fast which can confuse the eyes at times.

Supposedly if you had Red/Blue 3D glasses the graphics actually pop out at you which is pretty cool, but I haven't been able to try that as I've never had 3D glasses before.

Some say the textures are hard on the eyes, but personally I don't mind them. They all blend in very well and the environments are attractive.

This game has received a lot of flak over the years. A lot of people hate it for the lack of story, high difficulty, and one hit deaths. But it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. I need to find this game again, and believe me I will!
