Rare has done it again with JFG! Simply put, one of the best games on the N64 and IMO one of the finest shooters ever!

Jet Force Gemini is one of Rare's many gems that made the N64 the success it was along with B-K and Goldeneye. This is just one of those "rare" games that pop up out of nowhere and offer a truely great and memorable experience overall. I remember playing this game without ceasing and I was completely entranced every step of the way. The setting, the characters, the environments and most of all the weapons is what truely made this game a masterpeice. Rare once again delivers an exhilarating experience like no other and a game which should offer you a lot of challenges and keep you busy for some time. This game pits you against travelling to various varied worlds and ridding it of the evil menace Mizar and his evil army or drones that are clearly jeopardizing the peace. In the game you will come across some unique and challenging bosses and with that also comes great exciting Drone encounters in which you must use any means neccessary to eradicate them as quickly and as "artistically "as possible. The sight of drone's blowing up into piles of guts when facing heavy weaponry is just one of the those neat touches that make this game truely awesome. During the course of the game you will eventually come across the dreaded Ship Part's collecting hunt which will prove very challenging to hardcore gamers but it doesn't necessary mean its frustrating or too hard. It simply adds a differentiating factor that some parts require raw, shooting skill while others make use of your more intellectual properties. Overall JFG has it all in terms of what makes a shooting game truely great and challenging at the same time, but not so much to the extent of mindless launching your controller at the Tv screen in total frustration. The game has a bad-ass assortment of satisfying weapons, a good setting and just some exciting gameplay and sound bring together a Rare masterpiece once again. It's visceral, exciting and an instant classic, a MUST own for anyone who still has the N64!
