Jeanne d'Arc is definitely worth your time and money.

The game is very fun and very easy for newcomers to the genre to pick up. The strategy is simple but at the same time appeals to hardcore strategy-RPG players. The idea of the burning aura that appears forces the player to plan and not rush headlong into the enemy. And the ability for a select few to transform into much more powerful characters is a fun idea and is very useful. It also has a turn limit so you really have to make sure not to take too long or you'll lose and not even realize it. The only problem I had with the game was the story was not that great and it was really annoying to listen to the characters talk with a highly exaggerated french accent. So if you are going to buy this game (which I highly recomend) turn down the volume during cut scenes and you'll should be very happy you bought it.
