Pretty good NES game.

User Rating: 7 | Jaws NES
I don't own this game, but I have an emulator and played it on such. It was rather fun, not on par with Metroid or Super Mario Bros, but still worth a play.

Gameplay: From the beginning, you are on a boat, and set to ride around. You do this for a bit, then you occasionally hear you hit something. From there, you dive into the water to shoot javelins at the more violent sealife, and try to find the shark causing the issues. After a few small-time kills, good ole' Jaws shows up. He follows your boat, and is a pretty rough boss battle, one hit by him and you are dead as a doornail. Later, you get powerups and items to track Jaws. Not revolutionary, but I liked it better than say, Friday the 13th. 7/10

Replayability: The game is very short. Very, very short. Around one to two hours long. 2/10

Sound: Decent theme, blips and boops, you get the idea. If only they midi-d the main theme during the boss fight. 7/10

Graphics: Not too bad. Good title screen, and the backgrounds are layered. Characters look like blobs of random colors. Average for the NES. 6/10

Worth playing one or two times, if you find it for a buck at a flea market, you may consider buying it.
