Like most series of games, a racing one is added, and this one here is a great addition to the jak and daxter series.

Most game series have one or two racing games lying around, and this is a very good one at that. The game is great in it's own right and doesn't do as bad as some other racing games. To start off the race tracks are well developed in the manner of the jak and daxter world with areas such as haven city, spargus, and the new addition of kras city. The wide variety of vehicles unlocked throughout the game gives you quantity and quality. Weapons are what you would expect if it's "combat" racing, like missiles, grenades, and the effect to power up weapons through kills that give you dark eco. The secondary set of weapons which are mainly traps work greatly against opponents. The idea for upgrading vehicles was great to give you some advantages against some of the harder tracks. I'd say overall, it is a great racing game that stood up to the test of gaming and survived being worthy of coming in to the Jak and Daxter franchise.
