Ladies and gentlemen, this is the definition of a buzzkill.

Jak & Daxter is one of the greatest video game series of all time. With it's great characters and humor, large environments, varied missions, and wide ranges of weaponry, Jak & Daxter is a series that will stand the test of time. The only downside to the series is that The Lost Frontier is part of it. I don't know what they were thinking by making this game. Sure, on the PSP it might be entertaining, but on the PlayStation 2, this is garbage. Honestly, it's just garbarge and nothing else. One of my biggest problems with this game is the fact that Naughty Dog, the company that made all the other games, had nothing to do with this at all. If you want to make a Jak & Daxter game, you have to have Naughty Dog do it. That's like a Grand Theft Auto game not being made by Rockstar. Or a Metal Gear Solid game not being made by Kojima. Despite that fact I was still willing to give the game a shot, since I'm such a big fan of the series. But right from the first cutscene, you know that it's not gonna be the same. For some reason, they got someone new to do Jak's voice, and he doesn't look as tough and heroic as he did in the other games. And they did something wrong with the character designs. Keira looks really different and Daxter looks way too fuzzy. Although what really makes me hate this game are the gameplay and graphics. The gameplay is nothing at all like the previous games, and you don't have the same weapons. Instead you have this "weapon staff" that you can attach guns to. But the guns look nothing like they did in the other games. But enough about that, let's discuss the radioactive sludge that they decided to call graphics. The first four games looked sleek and cool. And they still look really impressive even by today's standards. But this is unacceptable. I've gotten mad at games for their gameplay, I've gotten mad at games for their plot, but I don't think I've ever gotten mad at a game for it's graphics. This game was made just last year in 2009, the same year as Modern Warfare 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum. Two of the most graphically impressive games of all time. It's just shocking that this came out in the same year as those. And the reason why the graphics look so bad is because this is a port from the PSP version. Wouldn't it be smarter to make a port from the PS2 to the PSP? I mean, if you want it to be on both systems, you know that on a big screen PSP graphics are going to look terrible. I just don't get it. And if you're going to have another Jak & Daxter game, it needs to be on PlayStation 3. we've been expecting a PS3 Jak game for a while now, and instead you gave us this toxic waste of a video game.
