Very similar to the second game

User Rating: 9 | Jak 3 PS2

If you enjoyed playing through Jak 2 you'll more than likely appreciate this installment of the Jak and Daxter series which is much like its predecessor. Fans of the original will be pleasantly surprised to know that Jak 3, while more challenging than Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, is considerably less difficult than Jak 2, which was honestly a chore to play sometimes. While there are a fair share of trial and error missions throughout the game, they're fewer and further between than the previous installment. While Jak 3 sticks to what made its predecessor so great, it isn't different enough from the first game to really feel like a stand alone experience. To draw a comparison, if Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy were a mango, Jak 2 would be a nectarine, and Jak 3 a peach, while I would have liked it to be a more different fruit, such as a plum. All in all though the game offers a lengthy story, plenty of variety, interesting characters, fun gameplay, and witty humor which make it an experience worth playing.
