Not many options on the action RPG genre are as fun as this one
I cant say that it's a surprise, cause the game was already know from his previous console version, and of-course, both Byoware and 2K Games are very famous for the games they make. More, the production values used here make it seem more like a movie than a game.
Speaking of production values: Byoware must have spented a fortune on the actors! And if they didn't, they should. U have literally thousands of hours of awesome speech in this game. The characters can quite convincingly express joy, madness, indifference, u name it. The lengthy speeches alone make it worth playing this game, and will for sure keep u playing, just to know more characters and their emotions. The rest od the sounds aren't superb, but are good anyway.
The graphics are on par with other games on the market, with loads of colors and pretty landscapes. Even the characters are well designed, all looking very different from one another.
The game-play is quite good. U may say its a bit simple, but that only makes u try different approaches and combat styles without the fear that a bad choice will make u lick the floor. Besides, the combat is not that easy that u wont feel needing tho keep saving the game.
The camera is always on the perfect spot: I'm still trying to find one moment where i can say something like "come-on, turn to him"
Its true that the true RPG elements are quite diluted on this game, which is more action oriented, without any upgrades to your armour that would be nice, so your character could change a bit, but still, you will have a load of different combat styles, gems that will add buffs to u and the ever present balance between good and evil. In fact, that balance leads u to different stories, either u choose the open hand (good side) or the closed fist (bad side) and an all different game, with people reacting differently to u. In the end, u see 2 different endings to the game.
In short terms: this game will make u keep playing and saying to yourself: "just one more fight" or "just till i complete this side quest". Its a joy to play
