Not a bad game. Don't have much to say about it.

User Rating: 7.5 | Inuyasha: Sengoku Otogi Kassen (Limited Edition) PS
The game is based on the Manga / Anime series InuYasha. Although the series is very interesting with all respect the game doesn't really serves to come close to the TV series' level.

Story: InuYasha is a half demon that lived in the bloody ages of feudal Japan. InuYasha seeks to become a full fledged demon by using the sacred jewel of 4 souls, but ended up being defeated by his love interest Kikyo and was sealed to a tree for 50 years. At that time a young girl who came 500 years from the future named Kagome released InuYasha from his eternal slumber. During a battle that took place another day the jewel of 4 souls was shattered into peaces and was scattered all over the world. Kagome, feeling responsible for the damage decided to search and restore the sacred jewel, while InuYasha decided to accompany her since he also needed the jewel in order to become a full fledged demon. On their journey they meet new friends and enemies.

Game design: InuYasha: A feudal Fairytale is a fighting game. There are few modes you can choose from but will unlock new ones later on. In the main mode, story mode, you will select a character and will go through each of their stories of the TV series. The goal of each will be the same; you will try to seek sacred jewel shards. After the cut scenes you will be placed in an over head viewed map and can walk a path you want to go to. Some will lead you to allies, play mini games or fight enemies on a traditional 2D fighting, some of them may even have sacred jewel shards.

Game play: Each character has his/her own abilities which can be of an advantage or disadvantage. For example InuYasha uses his sword Tetsaiga for close range, while Kagome uses her Bow for long range. Each character you unlock will have his/her own attacking style, special attacks and ultimate attacks.

Sound: The music is pretty good. There are also voice castings but their only Japanese. Otherwise you will have to read dialogues.

InuYasha: A Feudal Fairytale is pretty much a standard fighting game just with InuYasha mixed into it. Otherwise I can't really find anything special about the game. An InuYasha fan would find many things to like about this game but otherwise I doubt others will find anything interesting about this game at all.
