Great game for the fans; decent arcade racer for most.

If you have this game, then I already know you must be a fan since the game hasn't been translated into English language for the States. If you some how manage to run across the game while at your local arcade then it somewhat recommend to try the game out if you like racing. The game is all definitely fantasy which takes after the anime/manga series Initial-D, if you haven't run into it...just you-tube it to get yourself up to speed. Though some of the tracks have been based on real Japanese locations and the cars are real, its just the overall game mechanic that makes it fantasy. The main objective of this game is you racing up or down a mountain trail, trying to be the first one to cross the finish line first. There is a story line to this game but most fans of the series already know, if you can read Japanese then you can understand what's going on during and after each race to give the player more depth. The simple game mechanic allows players to master each track in their own way, and in most cases other continuations of the series play the same way so you won't feel like you playing a totally different game all together. Overall, this a good get together game...challenging yourself to beat your time you set each time you race down the mountain or to beat your friends on a head-to-head battle down the mountain.
