This game is really fun, not quite up to the original Arcade version but still awesome and worth playing.

Starting off writing my second review in the Initial D series come a review on initial D: Mountain Vengeance. Based off the popular anime series in Japan and the only Initial D game to come to North America (Besides the Arcade Versions) is Initial D Mountain Vengeance. The lead character in the series Takumi, or Tak for short, comes into this game just like the other games. You start off racing with Tak's Toyota Trueno AE86 in the downhill zones in Japan, as you progress through you take on different opponents from the Initial D World and race them. As you defeat different people from different street racing gangs,groups,etc you can win their vehicles and upgrade points. This game is almost exactly the same as the arcade versions if anyones ever played them. As you when races you unlock the games soundtrack which is some of the best music around. You unlock different upgrades for your car also such as spilers,wheels,hoods,engines,mufflers, you get the idea but overall this game is virtually the same as Initial D: Special Stage which can be imported from www.videogamecentral.com
