Infinity Blade has the best graphics in a mobile game but there is real substance there???
You are a knight who wants to revenge your father who was killed by a god-king who is immortal. You enter the castle and have to fight some minions and make your path to the throne and fight the King, if you fail you can start a new lineage and start a new adventure once again, until you kill the King.
To help you to accomplish that mission you have a set of armors, rings, swords, shields and helmets that you can buy in the game store using money you collected by playing or purchasing via in-app-purchase. Your character have also a level up system witch improves your character stats like defense, attack, magic and life. Your stat and inventory remains even if you start a new lineage
The game play uses the touch screen, making gestures to swing your sword, evade attacks or use your shield. You can use the gestures to block opponents attacks with your sword (your shield can be broken if you used to much) or use it to invoke magic spells.
The problem with this game is the lack of good story or story at all, you go in to the castle fight everybody and there start over again even if you manage to kill the end boss, and after the 7 lineage it gets repetitive. You don't control your character to explore all the dungeons, only move from cut scenes to cut scenes. The minions are the same only changing the powers and level. The graphics and sound design are good, actually there are the best on a mobile game to this date but the repetitiveness and the lack of interesting story makes this game the perfect example of stile over substance and how good graphics are not enough to make a good game. Everybody seems to forget that's why i think this game is highly overrated.
Just don't waste your time and money buying and downloading this game you are better with other games with more substance, story and game play
