This has to be the most undeserving review Gamespot has ever given.
This game is just plain fun, and I don't see most of the problems that everyone is having with it. Sure, it's not perfect (what game is?) and it could use improvements (hence the 7.5 I give it), but I had a blast playing through it, and I strongly disagree with all of the negative things reviewers are saying about it. In fact, take ALMOST everything the negative reviews say, and I see the opposite. I can't believe everyone is dumping on this game like they are, I thought this game would get decent reviews between 7 and 8, but this unwarranted hate seems to rear it's ugly head quite alot these days for some reason.
It seems to me like about half of the games that come out nowadays are unfairly bashed into oblivion. I don't know what's going on, but it's getting to the point where I'm worried the entire gaming industry is going to go down in flames if you people don't stop with the hateful, cynical, jaded, angry nerdliness...and using the fact that something received bad reviews to justify pirating it instead of buying. You know, I don't think it's even possible to satisfy the majority of gamers anymore. I buy games that get 4.5 - 6.0 from reviewers (although I do wait for the price to come down a little), only to find out they are actually great fun and highly under rated.
If you don't like gaming, please...go find something else to do with your life!
