I enjoy WWII games and flight simulators but this game was very disappointing. I can't recommend this game to anyone.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey allows you to participate in some of the primary military confrontations of World War II in large-scale aerial combat over ground-based military operations. You operate fighter planes or heavy bombers across a range of missions through six major WWII campaigns - The Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Berlin, Sicily, the Battle of the Bulge and Korsun, Russia.

The graphics are pretty good but the gameplay is very repetitive. It seems like you go through the same style of missions throughout the entire game. I also found the flight controls difficult to master.

There is one thing I found a little odd. The enemy planes will crash into you often. They don't appear to be kamikaze strikes, just enemy planes that come towards you as if they are playing "chicken". If you don't turn away, they can kill you.

If you want a great flying game, consider Ace Combat X. It has everything that IL-2 Sturmovik doesn't…..
