There are few games that can be considered art, but then again there a few developers like Treasure.

Treasure has done it again, the seminal art piece of their very commendable resume. This game has style spewing from every single pore. Not only is it easy to grasp, but it is remarkably difficult to master. In fact its remarkably difficult to even beat this extremly short, 5 level game. However, that can be forgiven because this is a top-down shooter afterall and those 5 levels will bring you joy for years ahead.

The whole polarity idea, bullet eating, and mega attack idea come together perfectly over amazingly beautiful hand drawn backgrounds. The score is acceptional and is the only video game score that I felt compelled enough to put on my iPod, its that damn good.

The only problem with this game is that it is difficult the way that only old school games can be. And thats not a problem at all, however it does effect the amount of people who will enjoy this and is diffenatly a niche game. Take that into effect when gauging my review, because I am one of those people who enjoy this game immensly.

The greatest thing about this instant classic however is the cooperative play. Not only can you play with style, but you can add a friend along and get into the old shooter zen. I have never had so much fun losing in my life.
