Ignition may be old but it's still a good racing game
Ignition involves racing of course. You have plenty of vehicles you can use in the game such as the Enforcer, a police car. The Vac, an ambulance van. Mon, the monster truck, and even a school bus full of people!. There are so many great vehicles on this game. Each vehicle has a type of boost called Ignition hence the name of the game. You use this boost to get ahead of your opponents because that's the only way you're going to win the race!. There are plenty of different modes such as the Pursue Mode where you have to avoid becoming last each lap and whoever's last is out of the race. Championship where you can earn points in races and if you earn enough you win a new vehicle and track in the game.
If you want some more fun you could always try the Splitscreen mode with your friends. It's very easy to set up and very fun to play on. Unfortuantly, I couldn't get the network play to work but I think it might be because it wasn't for Windows XP so if you have an old computer you might be able to do this. Also, you don't need a CD to play Ignition.
The graphics for Ignition were great!. It has some nice amount of detail in the tracks and the vehicles look great. If you think you're going to have great graphics then think again because this game is very old!. As for the sound, each vehicle makes their own noises when you use the boost and you can use your own CD to play music in the game.
So, is Ignition worth playing?. Yes, but like I said before this game is very difficult to find now but if you find it make sure you get it as it's a fun game to play for a while. Get a copy of it and enjoy Ignition!.
