What started out as one of the biggest kids toys is now a video game. Yeah, it doesn't suprise me either. Hot Wheels Beat That is an unrealistic racer with lots of problems.

First off, HWBT has glitches galore. That fact really takes the enjoyment of the colorful 3-D textures in the game. So, you'll be racing around admiring the pretty graphics when all of a sudden, glitches start coming like rain.

Secondly, the gameplay is nothing Activsion should be proud of. It's repetitve, buggy, and simply monotonous. Luckily, cool car designs may push that aspect out of the way, if you are a huge Hot Wheels fan that is.

Then there's zero story. Absoultley no storyline whatsoever. The best part of the game is the passable multiplayer. Well, it's more than passable. It's great. But does that really make up for everything else?

Hot Wheels Beat That tries to be new and fresh, but it degenerates into a nig messy pile of a futuristic racer that only the biggest fans of Hot Wheels can like. Beat that? It won't be too hard.
