Its the one time something out did Homeworld.

The thing here is, if you've played the original and then jumped into Cataclysm you've hopefully been floored by the scope of the game itself. Merely an expansion to the original? A very well made modification of the c... Read Full Review

While it deviates a bit from the original, Cataclysm continues the same amazing gameplay its series is known for.

The prospect of a game, fully exploiting all six axes of direction where "up" or "down" has next to no meaning, has always been a great pull for this reviewer. In other words, this reviewer is plenty attracted to space-b... Read Full Review

A story that's, in my opinion, superior to the original Homeworld

Gameplay The biggest change one will notice in the gameplay is the ability of the mothership to move around. After playing Homeworld, I was itching to start immediately without getting over those tedious tutorials fi... Read Full Review

Very powerful storyline, engaging game play.

Homeworld is one of the very few games that require no description, only experience. I don't know how much time I have spent in playing this game, but I have to say that this game deserves every hour and a half or more t... Read Full Review

When I first got this several years ago, I was hooked. Not only is the gameplay fantastic, but the graphics are great even by today's standards. I spend hours playing this game and looking for Homeworld related art on De... Read Full Review

Better than the sequel, but still lacking

To be honest, no one seems to give Cataclysm its due. The concept was interesting, and certainly original relative to other games that came before. But because it compared so weakly to its predecesor, and what didn't, ... Read Full Review
