Great idea..Slightly flawed execution

Homefront is Kaos Studios' new FPS. Basically, the idea is that you are part of the resistance against the Koreans who have taken over the USA. The idea is great, but the campaign is too short, so I hope they do release some DLC extras.
PROS:
Great story Some moving/awesome moments
Brilliant multiplayer maps
Easy controls
4 difficulty levels
Quite a lot of variation, but not so much that it feels silly (Black Ops?? =P)
CONS:
Pretty short story
Not many guns (but lots of mods for them)
Server was down.. but is ok now =)
Some minor annoyances in campaign
Don't buy used or you have to buy a 800 Microsoft Point code to go past level 5 online (see below)
Just don't see it as a direct COD rival, and you should love it. even if you like COD and Battlefield, just give Homefront a few hours and it gets better and better!
To be honest, the first 2 missions don't allow much exploration, but as an intro to the game they work OK. Don't believe the user reviews that give it less than 4: even if you don't enjoy the game, theres no way it's that bad!! A good game, but don't necessarilly buy it right now. Wait till it's a little cheaper, but remember if you buy used you have to purchase a code to get past level 5/75 on multiplayer, for 800 Microsoft Points. Before level 5, not all game modes and few guns are unlocked, so be warned.
