Hitman Absolution has definitely made a lot of changes since Blood Money however im not sure there for the better.

To begin with I do have to say that Absolution was an enjoyable experience for the most part, it has almost everything that a great game should including great gameplay, graphics and sound however while playing through the first level I realized that this didnt feel like the Hitman games of old.

It doesnt play like Blood Money or Contracts and feels a lot more linear than its previous titles, instead of one big level to tackle you now play through multiple levels all split up into episodes with checkpoints/exits you need to reach in order to get to the next level or stage of the story.

On top of that the disguises in the game didnt really work either as they did previously, whenever you are disguised in Absolution you will be spotted by anyone else wearing the same clothing such as the cops, gang members etc. Even though this is more realistic it doesnt work in game and you spend most of the time in stealth mode even if disguised which kind of defeats the purpose.

Apart from that and few other small things it was a fun game, the combat and killing is awesome and even more brutal than before, the game looks nice graphics wise and of course there is the contracts mode which is a blast and a big plus for replayability.

Overall if this game wasnt named Hitman and didnt feature 47 I would have loved it a lot more, as a big fan of the previous titles I was kind of disappointed however once you get into and start playing it will grow on you im sure.
