if you like nintendogs, you should try this game out! it's just like nintendogs!
this is like one of those Nintendogs games, only with a pikachu and more things to do.
ok. so, this game is unique because unlike any other n64 game, it uses a microphone so you can talk to pikachu.
it's really a game for little kids, so there are no real tasks to do. the things you can do in the game are talking to pikachu (obviously), helping a bulbasaur cook meals, babysitting a bunch of caterpies, go fishing, hunting for treasure, playing at pinata parties, and having quizzes with pikachu. it sounds boring, but it's really fun!
the graphics are ok for an n64. i just don't like that sometimes, it's hard to tell what some things are. for example, the acorns look like rocks or digletts and the vanilla cupcakes look like mushrooms with black spots on the top.
sometimes, pikachu doesn't listen to what you say. and the microphone for the game breaks easily. but if it does break, you can just plug any kinds of earphones into the microphone adapter. but you can't use the kind that has the spongy things over the speaker thingy because when you talk to pikachu with those kind of earphones, it will be harder for the pikachu to understand what you say.
overall, it's a decent simulator game that most Pokemon fans would enjoy. but, whatever you do, DO NOT PLAY THE SEQUEL!!!! (the sequel is Pokemon channel.) PLEASE RATE!!!!!!
