Heroes of the Monkey Tavern

Heroes of the Monkey Tavern is a Legend of Grimrock type game in that you explore the floors of the dungeon looking for better armor and weapons, keys for the few doors that need them and battle enemies that can give you a good challenge but can be taken down with the right strategy(with a boss enemy for each level). Your group starts with a good balance of characters including a priest that can heal anyone in the group which, when used in battles, allows all of your fighters to battle without the need to use up health potions like candy and lets you concentrate on using their weapons or spells. In addition, there is usually one fountain per floor that can restore all of the ones that died during a battle, a plus for anyone who tires of reloading and redoing the battle, a feature that I was thankful for. The game has a good balance of action and adventure which kept it interesting as well as fun instead of being a dungeon crawl. If you liked Legend of Grimrock, this well-designed game should be an addition to your collection.
