Ok if you have some of my other reviews you know I start off with the GRAPHICS: Ok, so the graphics up first, well I have to say one thing before I explain... Heavy Rain is one the most Photo-Realistic games I have ever seen in my whole life at this point. Heavy Rain will pull you right in from the start, starting with the graphics. Characters are Beautifully animated, Sets are well designed and rendering is almost flawless. Everything from having a shower to trying to stop a Big Homicidal killer from crushing you, this game has not missed a thing graphically. For graphics I give it a 10/10.
SOUND: Ok the sound effects in this game could make you think it's right out of a John Carpenter film. From the guns and cars to the sound of running water and rain drops, the sound effects are amazing. For the sound effects I give it a 9/10.
CHARACTERS: Ok in this game you play as four main characters of the game: Ethan Mars; a loving father, husband and architect. Scott Shelby; a Private Detective with an interest in the Orgami Killer case. Madison Page; a beautiful journalist. And Norman Jayden; an FBI agent asigned to the Origami Killer case. All of which you will find a reason to love them by the end of the game. But not just the playable characters are great, also the NPC's are just as important to the story as the playable ones. For characters I give it a 10/10.
STORY: Ok lastly the story. Now this game is VERY story driven, you basically play a great drama film about love mixed with a cool 21st century Sherlock Holmes style investigation flick. The story is what will keep the controller in your hand from start to finish. Every time you play the game something is bound to be different everytime. If you kill one of the main protagonists, it's not game over, it just adds to the story. For Story I give it a 10/10.
OVERALL: Overall, PLAY THIS GAME, and not inly once or twice but as many times as you can change the story by the end of the game, this game is fun, immersive, Dramatic, Sad and Creative. Overall I give this game a 9.8/10
