There is no doubt in my mind that Heavy Rain is without question one of the best games ever to made for a gaming system!!! The plot and story in Heavy Rain is truly breath taken and emotional. Heavy Rain is a true thriller, and one of the most beautiful things about this game is you determine the outcome! Allow me to give you an overview of the game.
The first character you play as in Heavy Rain is Ethan Mars, who is an architect, Ethan is married and has two sons name Jason and Shaun. In the earlier stages of the game, Jason who is the older of the two brothers dies in a car accident, and Ethan blames himself for his son's death. Jason's death has a dramatic impact on the Mar's family and causes Ethan and his wife to separate. Shaun is the only child left, and Ethan and times seems to neglect his son because of his guilt. Long story short Shaun goes missing and Ethan as well as the police suspect that the origami killer is somehow involved with Shaun disappearance.
In Heavy Rain you will play as four people, One is Ethan Mars who will do whatever it takes to get his son Shaun back. The second character you will play as is Scott Shelby who is a private detective investigating the deaths of the origami killer and how they all relate to each other. But the thing is Scott Shelby has his own motives on for the investigation. Third is Madison Page who is a journalist and suffers from insomnia. Madison somehow gets caught up in the latest investigation on the origami killer and assist Ethan in his search to try and find his son. Finally there is Norman Jayden who is an FBI agent helping the local police try and find the latest victim of the origami killer.
There is no particular order in which character you play as, but one thing is certain everything that you do will affect the outcome of the game. It would seem that all of the events that take place affect each other somehow. The game has multiple endings and it is up to you to decide everyone fate.
Heavy Rain offers beautiful graphics and the soundtrack is absolutely wonderful!!!! You cannot go wrong with this game, and the story will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat!!!
