This is not as good as its decendants of Another World and Flashback but its alright.

Basically what we have here is a 2D platforming action game that requires you to most of the time to work out a clever (and sometimes frustrating) puzzle. Now I know I can't hold it against the game because it annoys me but playing as a kid is terrible I mean his scream and naive behavior just irritates me so I could not enjoy this game to its fullest. But either way this game's controls are probably actually easier than Flashback's so the character can move around at quick pace (that is until shadows knock you off a cliff). The graphics were good for it release time (hand drawn backgrounds and pre-rendered sprites) and can still leaves an impression. This game actually has some good musical pieces to it and the voice acting isn't bad either. Unfortunately I completed this game in about 6-8 hours and most of the game is actually cut-scenes but while it is being played for the most part it is very entertaining. Maybe not the best of a proverbial trilogy of Another world (Out of this World), Flashback and this game but still ranks high.
