A very cute game that is easy to get the handle of and fun to play. You can be either a boy or a girl so no limitations there. You started out dirt poor and work your way up eventually owning 3 villas come on how awesome is that!?

Honestly though it's a very cute and simple game that you can easily play when you need something relaxing to do and then set it down and come back to it later and EASILY pick up where you left off. So that right there is a bonus in my book since my life can easily become quiet hectic.

The graphics aren't realistic which is nice personally I'm so tired of seeing "realistic" that this is a wonderful breath of fresh air. So the cute little style of each character is nice and even this way each character easily stands on their own and you can get a real feel at what kind of person this character is, though I'll admit one was confusing if you've played the game you'll know whom I'm talking about if you're going to you'll eventually know, and it's nice to see all the different character personalities shine through.

The plotline isn't anything huge, just saving this island that you've called home you know nothing that big. Really though, you can take it at your own pace or rush through it and that allows everyone to enjoy it at whatever they are happiest with. Simple plot but still very enjoyable.

The music is nice and the different outfits you can buy are fun though I personally think most of the good ones are only sold during certain festivals, but that's just me. There aren't that many things you can do to change your look though a hat and a new outfit and a little bit of jewelry but still more then some I guess, and all the outfits are one piece so no mix and match there.

A downside to the game you start out running around by foot and to get to certain areas can almost kill you or at least drive you insane. It can take an hour (game time mind you) to cross one section of field. So if you're starting in your house at the beach and trying to make it to the ranch that's one hour to cross your home section, then the mining section, then depending on where you want to go at the ranch that's a possible 2 hours and something. Riding the animal helps this fault later but in the beginning you just want to groan or hang someone.

If you're one of those people that like to complete every little detail in a game you've got plenty of things to complete in this game, and yet it doesn't feel like a total chore. The farming is pretty standard and easily done, the animals are easy to take care of though they eat up quite a bit of time as you start getting up there in animals, the mining is also pretty easy after all you get to explore a mine finding rare items and trying to make it to the bottom. Those are all fairly easy to complete but the fishing…can get quite boring and finding all the fish in the game can become quite tedious!

The family portion of the game is nice finding someone you like and then wooing them and then popping that question and getting married. It's rather fun to do but don't to quick there are some that don't pop up till later in the game after you complete a few events so play your field a bit. Then having a kid can be quite amusing to watch and then being able to put the little bugger to work on your farm! What more can you ask for!? Sure if they did more then one chore and didn't take all day to do it, but hey at least they're doing something. Then sending the kid off on his own journey to start your new game+ is a nice little twist. You then become your kid and continue playing the game without having to take up save files with previous games unless you really want to.

All in all a very nice game that is great for relaxing and just playing at your leisure.
