Save the Homland is fun only when taken the time and patience. The good thing about the game is that it's easy for anybody. There are major flaws in the game that makes it hard for everybody to get into. This game is not meant for everybody to play.

The good thing about the game is that it's easy. It's all about having your own farm and taking care of your own animals. It's not at all complicated and any age could beat the game in 10 different ways. There are ten different endings each with their own difficulty. The main point I'm getting across is that it's easy.

The major flaws come in a lot. One would be it's too easy. Another is that it is too repetitive. Everyday that passes almost feels the same. The town your in is not big and when your walking around you have to come right back right away. There are things to do like fish and ride horses. But they only give little rewards, almost rewards that you will not need at all. Depending on which ending you are trying to get, the game is pretty much the same thing. Growing crops doesn't take a long time and once they're grown there's nothing really to do. Raising animals is not deep at all. Just make sure you brush and feed them. That's it. If you want gold eggs, or gold milk just make them happy by putting them outside. But there's no playing with them at all. There are not a lot of items in the game, or any real great twists that change the pace of the game. So that's about it on the flaws.

In conclusion, the game is good if your patient. Otherwise, the fun doesn't last for more than 2 days. It's a big bore after that. Other Harvest Moons are better than this one. This game is made for those who like slow games that make little effort to change the pace a little.
