To start, Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland is your basic non violent game. So anyone in the family can play this game. My 6 year old cousin actually play this game and even my Uncle have tried this game. Its very friendly game.

At the beginning,You must live the life of a farmer to survive and complete normal, everyday farm tasks such as feeding animals and watering crops. These tasks are fun because in everything you do, you see an outcome. The more you feed your chickens and cows, the more milk and eggs they produce. The more crops you care for, the more vegetables you're going to receive at the end of the month and so on.

Farming isnt the only thing you don on this game. You also do some chores, take care some animals and make friends with other people.There are nine different endings to Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland and there are nine goals for players to accomplish. It takes a lot of hard work to take care of a farm AND save your town.

Harvest Moon may not have the action packed adventure qualities of other games, but if you’re looking for a peaceful yet fun game to, then you’ve found a home for Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland.
