Harvest Moon is hands down one of the most fun, original, addicting games that I have ever played, and its a farm sim

I never thought that I would get into a game where you go around farming and mining for money, as you try to build a succesful farm, but this game ate me up just as much as the Sims and San Andreas. You inherit a farm from an old man that you write letters too and your adventure begins. This game is so easy to control and figure out that a four year old could get into this game. I found that the more you got into the game the more fun that there was to be had. There were horse races that you can bet on, and like in the sims running out of money means a late night in the mine fields. The fact that your character could get sick from working too hard is very cool and highly original. Even if you are like me and not a huge RPG type game fan this game is a great way to pass time. This game is soo much fun that many people will be suprised like me how much fun can be had with this game. However, I only recommend this game for people who have time to kill because otherwise you wont get sucked into the world as quickly as the people playing it on a plane ride would. From a die hard FPS fan this game is definatley a nice break from all the blood and gore (i cant believe im saying this) that inhabit today's videogames. This is definatley worth your money if you have lots of free time. I look forward to playing and reviewing the sequal.
